Resorts World Submits Replat For Terminal Residential/Hotel

Resorts World has submitted to Miami city planners a replat of property where a hotel and residential project is in the works.

The new plat is called Awana Forest. It includes Tract 1, the existing 1.569 county bus terminal, along with Tract 2, with .872 acres of land.

In March, Resorts World won county approval to redevelop the terminal with a retail space and a 36-story Arquitectonica-designed tower. The project includes mostly residential use, along with up to 300 hotel rooms.

Total cost for the project is estimated at $200 million.
